FINDING HOME DOCUMENTARY & PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Raleigh Area Children’s Theatre (Raleigh ACT), a small organization serving hundreds of children in North Raleigh for nearly a decade, faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the uncertainty, the theatre remained a source of positivity and safety, relying on the support of students, parents, and the broader community to navigate these turbulent times.
To capture this resilience and sense of community, I worked on the documentary Finding Home, which highlights the strength, unity, and dedication of the Raleigh ACT family while also reflecting the broader connections shared by similar local theaters nationwide.
In addition to producing the documentary content, I developed a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the project. This included a press release, a dedicated Instagram page, and a suite of promotional materials such as a poster, business card, and postcard. These efforts ensured that the story of Raleigh ACT’s inspiring work and its impact on the community reached both local audiences and the broader theatre network.
Through this project, I gained experience combining storytelling, design, and strategic marketing to communicate a powerful message while supporting a small but meaningful organization.
